What I thought would be a fairly good book turned out to be an excellent read. The premise seemed simple and although the book seems to be written in a style that would suit teen to adult readers, I read on curious what would develop, and really liked the story within a story and the character development especially of the writer of the main story. The book is actually about an English high school boy during WWII who has a passion and skill with his pen. And this is not clear until well into the story of Alphabetania. There are lots of philosophical parallels to consider and it becomes a deep story that will challenge you to think about some really important things. Well done!Product details
